At the end of the 1930s, Swiss painter Fritz Meijer (1900-1969) bought the house and moved to Gandria. He lived in the main house and used the adjacent Casa Parrucchiere as his atelier. After his death, his family continued to sell his paintings and postcards in the atelier until we bought the house in 2006.
